Creative Fence Applications

Every once in a while a customer gets creative. Jim in Colorado is a shining example of this. He took our  lattice top vinyl privacy Curious George Fence and positioned it between brick pillar posts. The before and after pictures display a startling contrast. This truly is a fence project well done!

Jim in Colorado created a striking difference in his yard with the vinyl lattice top privacy fence beautifully positioned between brick pillars.

The Mysterious Case of the Missing Donuts

There’s nothing like a great sense of humor to brighten a dreary day, and this email exchange with a customer made us laugh. In case you don’t know, the donuts we refer of are those yellow contraptions that help level the pipe anchor so that even if it’s not perfectly straight in the ground, when you sleeve your post over the pipe and donut, your post will be straight and level.

The customer’s original email said:

“Well, this time I’m afraid I’ve lost the leveling donuts, all 4 of them.  This time I remember they were here and don’t now if an animal carried them off or I just mis-placed them, or what.  In any event I need to order 4 more.”

We sent him his replacements and received this hilarious email 2 days later:

“I know you give a prize for photos, but do you have an idiot of the month award?

I’m the guy that looked everywhere for lost donuts, 5 times everywhere I could think of, at least, through all the trash, etc.  I thought the wife, cats and neighborhood crows, raccoons and possums were all conspiring against me to hide the little yellow donuts.

Well last week, I had done a bit of a dry run, fitting the vinyl posts over the surface mounts.  When I took the vinyl posts off the surface mounts, the donuts stayed with the vinyl posts.  They were there all the time, hiding inside, having a good laugh!!!!!!

So here’s one to add to your list of Murphy’s traps:  don’t forget that donut’s like to hide in posts if you do a dry run.

Since I’m a card carrying PhD tenured college professor, please don’t use my real name for fear my students would see it.”

Information about our Back Order

My name is Denise and I do the inventory management for WamBam Fence. Sadly, I should be fired! My crystal ball failed me late this spring and we are now back ordered on most of our privacy fence.

WamBam Fence has experienced significant growth this year. It’s been amazing, and we are so grateful for each and every one of our customers. But when we projected growth for this year, we were conservative. We love being proven wrong with our projections when they exceed our expectations, but the downside is inventory issues. While we were touch and go for a few products, we seemed to be able to stay just ahead of the game for most of the spring. Until recently.

Our privacy fence sold like hot cakes unexpectedly in June. While this is a great problem to have, we completely sold out and it happened too quickly to react in time. The end result is that we don’t expect another shipment of privacy fence until the end of July (for Steady Freddy) and mid-August (for Curious George) at the earliest, and if there are minor delays, it will be longer.

What to do if you need privacy fence

We realize some people cannot wait for stock issues to get sorted out, but in our experience, most people can wait a few weeks for their fence. Here are some options you have:

1. We still have the Big Ben Privacy Fence and dropped the price from $109 per panel to $99 per panel to try to help ease the back order pain.
2. We will be happy to email you when the fence is back in stock if you want to shoot us an email and request us to do so.
3. You may place your order now to reserve your panels when they come in stock. We require credit card information to hold the panels, but will not charge your card until we confirm it with you and the panels ship.

We do expect it to take a couple shipments to catch up, so if you want to be assured of getting stock on the next shipment, we highly recommend that you reserve your panels now. You may request a quote, call us, or email us to do so.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your patience!

A hard working customer installs 705ft of vinyl fence

We are so impressed with Gentry in Washington state. He took on an absolutely massive project with his 705ft of vinyl fence- including 6 gates!  His fencing had to come in 2 shipments on a total of 6 pallets. He used both the Steady Freddy Vinyl Privacy Fence and the Nervous Nelly Yard & Pool Fence. Here are some pictures of his project that he was kind enough to share with us.
