It’s that time of year! Our 6th annual fencing photo contest is in full swing. This year is a little bit different because we are combining entries from our Zippity Outdoor Products line and our WamBam Fence line. What is Zippity Outdoor Products?

In 2010 when we launched WamBam Fence, we had quite a few calls for smaller fences. There seemed to be a lot of people renting houses or training puppies who were looking for more semi-permanent fences. They wanted a fencing solution that could be easily installed, removed if necessary, and at a lower price point. They were looking for a quick 2-5 year solution and not a lifetime permanent solution like WamBam Fence offers. We also had a lot of people converting our privacy panels into privacy screens to hide garbage cans or air conditioning units. Others were modifying our privacy panels into outdoor shower enclosures. Responsive Design Means that All Sizes Screens Can Navigate the Site with Ease

WamBam Fence is pleased to announced that we have launched a brand new website with responsive design. This enhancement is designed to help people who are browsing our website on their smart phones, making it easier for them to navigate on a smaller screen. Additional to this, there are many new features designed to enhance the online experience for users on both smart phones and desktops. Not only has there been a design upgrade, but there is robust product categorization, breadcrumbs for easier navigation, and an all around enhanced online shopping experience.

Spring time is traditionally when most people decide to purchase a fence, but here are 3 reasons why you might consider installing your fence in fall.

1.Weather

Fall typically doesn’t bring as much rain as spring does, so you won’t have to worry as much about being rained out. Temperatures also tend to be cooler as well, which is a definite plus when you’re installing your fence.

2.Potential Lead Times

Because spring is so busy for fence companies, you may get quicker lead times and/or response times if you reach out in the fall when they are less backlogged. You may also experience less back orders.

3.Less Pressure

Often projects accumulate in the winter, resulting in a large “To Do” list in the spring. Installing a fence is a large undertaking, and it doesn’t do any good to be rushed. If you find too many things competing for your time, you may feel frazzled with your looming fence project- or worse, rush through it. Focusing on one project at a time is always wise, and your fence should be given plenty of time.
