Why a complete WamBam fence system works better

Our posts, anchors, and panels are designed to work together from the ground up. When you buy everything from WamBam, you get a system where everything fits correctly the first time — no adapting, no improvising, and no wasted afternoon in the yard.

Many competing panels attach to posts using brackets or pre-routed holes. WamBam is different. Several of our most popular panel styles — including Jiminy Picket, Plain Jane, Nervous Nelly, Curious George, and Steady Freddy — are specifically designed to slide directly into the groove built into our posts. That groove is a key part of what makes installation so fast and clean.

Some of our panel styles (like Nantucket, Sturbridge, Westport, Cambridge, Newport, and All-American) do use bracket-style attachment, and each of those comes bundled with its own matching post — so you’re always covered.

What happens if you use a different brand’s panels?

If you want to use another manufacturer’s panels with our posts and anchors, you’ll need to do one of the following:

1. Fill in the groove on your WamBam post to create a flat surface, then mount a bracket to attach your panel.
2. Find a bracket that fits inside the groove and can still hold your panel securely.
3. Find another way to secure your panel into the groove — whatever works for your specific panel design.

⚠️ Heads up: Using our posts or anchors in a way they weren’t designed for will void your warranty. Keep that in mind before you mix and match.

Our recommendation

Think of it like car parts — you could try fitting Ford components onto a Chevy, and maybe you’d get it to work. But is the extra time and frustration worth it? Probably not.
