This is a tricky question. The short answer is “We don’t recommend it.”

While vinyl can be painted, doing so has the potential to present many problems:

• It voids the warranty, and the paint may cause the vinyl to warp.
• It requires a lot of paint to actually change the color and have complete coverage.
• You would be turning a virtually maintenance free product into a product that will definitely need to be maintained.
