We specialize in helping homeowners install their own fence. We believe that almost any homeowner who is half-handy and willing to take some time can install their own vinyl or aluminum fence, which generally saves them a great deal of money. We have engineered our system to be as do-it-yourself friendly as possible, however, there are few scenarios in which WamBam fencing may not be right for you. You do have options. Whatever is best for you is best for us.

1. Hire a professional company

Pros

It’s easy because someone else does the work for you.
Premium grade fencing for lasting quality and a rich look.

Cons

It is generally fairly expensive to hire a professional to install your fence. In most areas labor costs are about as much as material costs.

When to hire a professional:

If you have more money than time
If you are not inclined to do-it-yourself projects
If your property has extenuating circumstances, such as extremely rocky ground or is in a hurricane zone

2. Purchase at your local big box store

Pros

Low price (However, be aware of hidden costs such as screws and brackets, as well as additional costs like auger rentals, concrete, pea gravel, wheelbarrow, etc.)

Cons

Lower quality (thinner vinyl, fewer UV inhibitors, etc.)

When to purchase fence at a box store:

If you have a limited budget (i.e. more time than money)
If you are willing to rent a power auger to dig holes and pour concrete for your install
If you are not planning on being at your current residence too long, or strickly need a functional solution
